It is my goal to find the time and money to be in school for the rest of my life. So far I feel I am succeeding. I have attended 9 1/2 years of classes at the University of Colorado, as well as many courses through their Continuing Education program. I have also had the pleasure of many lectures and courses through independent vendors, of which these are the highlights.
My goals for 2004 include JSP and a more in-depth knowledge and use of Web sites written entirely in XML/XSLT. I would also like to continuously improve my Vignette skillset.
2004 - Microsoft Project Administration (Microsoft)
2003 - Developing Modules for Vignette Application Portal (Vignette)
2003 - Vignette Application Portal Foundation (V4.5) (Vignette)
2003 - Vignette V7 Content Management Developer Foundation (V7) (Vignette)
2003 - Microsoft SharePoint Team Services (Microsoft)
2002 - Development with Pivotal MarketFirst (Pivotal course)
2002 - World Organization Of Webmasters Certification (Internet World, Fall 2002)
2001 - Extensible Markup Language (XML) (University of Colorado Continuing Education)
2000 - Advanced ColdFusion Development (Allaire)
2000 - FastTrack to ColdFusion (Allaire)
1999 - Java Certification in Progress (University of Colorado Continuing Education)
- GUI Programming in Java
- Intermediate Java Programming
- Object Oriented Programming using Java
1994 - Bachelor of Science, Chemistry (University of Colorado)
1990 - Bachelor of Arts, Women's Studies (University of Colorado)
1989 - Bachelor of Arts, Psychology (University of Colorado)
Most of the skills that I currently use were self-taught, and this method continues to be very effective for me. I also have a background in mathematics, creative writing and music.
