I have had a wide range of job descriptions since college, moving from bartending to web programming. The following work history lists dates and duties, please contact me for further descriptions of my experiences.

1998 - present
Glowball Solutions
President and Web Developer, http://www.glowball.com
I began working on Internet projects just before the first images showed up on the web, founding my own company in 1998. I enjoy working on these projects because it is very fast-paced, it always requires new skills and further research, and it keeps my skills sharp. I enjoy new clients and new products and services to sell with each new endeavor. You can see a brief overview of the projects I have completed in the portfolio section of this site.

2002 - 2004
Maxtor Corporation
Senior Web Developer, http://www.maxtor.com, http://www.maxtorbrand.com, http://www.maxtorvip.com, http://maxnet.maxtor.com, http://www.scsibusiness.com
I joined a new Web Team in May of 2002 as Maxtor completely overhauled most of their Web sites. I architected and lead the move to the Atomz Publish Content Management System (CMS) from static pages for three of the sites including the corporate presence. I was the Technical Lead as the company moved from Atomz Publish to the Vignette product suite (version V7) and the primary coordinator for VCM in-house. I developed the current data model and used Vignette Business Integration Studio (VBIS) to move XML data from Atomz to VCM. I have enjoyed continuously working with ColdFusion and SQL Server extensively on various projects, including working closely with a team of WebMethods developers. I also solely architected and developed the Maxtor partner portal using Microsoft SharePoint Team Services.

2000 - 2002
Exabyte Corporation
Senior Web Developer, http://www.exabyte.com, http://www.mammothtape.com
I enjoyed working for Exabyte on enterprise-level Internet, Intranet, and Extranet sites. I primarily worked with ColdFusion and Oracle, though my position originally required extensive Perl scripting. I am very proud to have taken a very active role in the corporate sites.

1998 - 1999
Storage Technology Corporation
Software Support Representative, http://www.storagetek.com
StorageTek saw the beginnings of my interest in data storage, where I supported UNIX-based products. I also developed and maintained the Intranet site for Technical Support, a large site filled with highly cross-referenced technical materials. I enjoyed working for a large corporation because of its strength in all situations.

1997 - 1998
Colorado Department of Education
Administrative Assistant, http://www.cde.state.co.us
I had the honor of being part of the movement to standardize the state's education in schools, as I redesigned the web site for the State Standards department. I also began a Listserv mailing list for the department and enjoyed working with people all over Colorado.

I also worked for many years as a bartender to be able to afford many years of college.
